Why?

In this life, he learned that your dearest things will leave you if you don't protect them, and desire could only do so much. Family is the thing he needs - the thing he wants - and he will not back down no matter the size or the strength of any threat. Even if it meant his life for another.
Companion/Offspring

His companion, along with his child, died under the devastating reign of his previous alpha, Genisus, who had deliberately murdered Neurosis' family as a result of Neurosis' "Act of Treason".

Sybil grunted as she collided into another figure, looking up to see Mordred's visage that read his disappointment. She grumbled at his words and looked away, mumbling. "I know." She looks at Diego, having a feeling this male was snooping around her business. Again. She returned her eyes back up to the chartreuse hues of Mordred. "I was gonna send him off anyway. I ought to start trying to get over him now so it wouldn't be so hard on me... But of course, you like to assume too soon about my decisions... Like them." She rasps, implying Luna and Killian and how they always took her as a wrong doer at the moment she did something - only to apologize for their accusations later on. Sybil turned away, muttering to Shaun. "Sorry. I gotta run..." With that, she darts off, not expecting anyone to follow.
