Why?: Despite her suffering from PTSD, Maarika is a highly capable fighter. Thanks to her shorter stature as is common among wolves for the female gender, she is quick on her paws and prefers the use of speed over strength. That isn't to say she isn't strong, for she has a good amount of muscle as well due to her years of training. She is also willing to follow orders and do anything to complete a task, especially if she believes it poses a threat to the one wolf she cares about.

Roleplay Sample: Maarika didn't know why she kept killing when she got the chance, even if it was just a hunt. She didn't suspect that a wolf with her problems would even want to continue doing such a thing, considering that she had a nightmare every night following the day she killed something. At times, she couldn't even explain the nightmares; she just knew that as long as she killed, they would keep coming back.

However, she had to kill; she was a wolf. She couldn't live like the birds that fed off of carrion for every meal; she needed fresh food. She enjoyed the thrill of the hunt, the feeling of the blood staining her fangs when she made a successful kill. But then the nightmares would happen...

Maarika was never more grateful for her older brother being around then when she experienced a nightmare. He was her grounding presence; she depended on him, and he knew it. She felt she was troubling him, but he took it with care. He always helped her when she needed it, and it was the first time he had done such a thing that Maarika had made a promise that she would one day pay him back.
